Christian Some issues on high-DPI device 2018-08-18 12:21:49
Hi.

I've been using NFOPad for a few years and love how fast it is for txt-files (and of course nfo-files, etc.). I recently got a new Huawei Matebook X Pro, which is a high-DPI device, and unfortunately NFOPad doesn't look quite right for me. Like some other programs it's blurry by default, but I can make some changes in the compatibility tab of nfopad.exe, which makes the program look crisp. However this also makes the font of the file tiny and the statusbar doesn't look quite right either, it's to small to contain the text.

I've uploaded two screenshots to illustrate both scenarios. https://imgur.com/a/rE7txQm

Is there some setting I may have missed or any fixes I might not know about for NFOPad? Or would it be possible to make some changes to NFOPad for high-DPI devices?

Thanks.

Hi, what is your font scaling settings in windows? (Settings -> Display -> Scale & layout). NFOPad does not detect if you have a high DPI display so it might very well be issues with it, I may need to look into if that can be handled some better way in the future.

Thanks for your quick answer.

Font scaling is at 200%, resolution is 3000x2000

Alright, thanks for the feedback, I will try to look into this when I get time some day but it will not be too soon. Hope you find an acceptable workaround. /Anders

Thanks for your quick replies. I realize this is probably a pretty minor "problem" so I don't expect you to put in any overtime ;) I'll manage!
