DFH Syncrhonised scrolling between two instances of Diffinity? 2017-12-17 14:22:20
A project I'm currently working with required me to repeatedly compare an output file from a script to two different text files.

I have the two compares open in separate Diffinity windows.

It would be really cool had there been an option to synchronise scrolling between two instances of Diffinity, assuming that either the left or right file is open in both instances.

Might this ever be a practical feasibility?

Not impossible but probably not the most bang for the buck as it feels like a pretty uncommon use case. Interesting suggestion though.

OK. How about a different idea?

Three way file compare for files A, B & C.

File A compared with file B (the central one).
File C compared with file B also.

Next diff / Prev diff would then need to be context dependent.

The Diff pane would need to split in half.

Should be a piece of cake!
Oh, wait ...... :)
