DFH Flashing cursor option? 2017-12-14 21:00:23
When searching for (e.g.) a Hebrew vowel or cantillation point, it's almost impossible to see where the find is because the cursor is not distinct.

A flashing cursor would be of considerable benefit to solve this visual acuity drawback.

Please also add the cursor color to the Colors preferences dialog.

It needs to be a contrasting color to the all the possible text and background colors.

When searching for a character it will be selected and all matching characters in the text will be highlighted with a different color as well. Both selection and highlight colors can be tweaked in preferences. Can you not tweak these colors to get what you want?

It's not all the differences I'm having difficulties finding when the search item is (e.g.) a Hebrew diacritic.

The differences are then as narrow as the cursor.

So the problem is this: Which one is where the cursor is?

There's no option to change the cursor colour!

But, hey! The cursor does flash!

For some strange reason, it wasn't flashing the other day.

Maybe it's because the flashing cursor was at the end of the line, at exactly the same location as one of the differences where only a diacritic was highlighted by a coloured line almost as narrow as the cursor?

It's this circumstance when it's very hard to spot its location.

I see, tricky stuff, I'll keep an eye open for similar cases.
