Greg Trane Feature Request: Colored Links 2010-09-26 19:47:57
Hi. Just wanted to say that I've tried NFOPad for the first time, and I really like it. I don't know if anybody else has asked for this, but I do have a feature request:

Would it be possible to allow email and URL links in .NFO files to appear in a different color? That would make them much easier to see.

Thanks again for a great product!

Greg

Hi and thanks for your feedback.
As it looks now, any kind of text formatting such as colors, styles or fonts (except for the whole text) will probably not be added to NFOPad in its current shape.

Why ? this is a great feature ...

Because the lightweight text component NFOPad use do not have support for this. The alternative components have other downsides. But never say never, we'll see what happens in the future...

First of all, thanks for making NFOPad, it's a really great little tool :)

One of the things that makes it so, is the no nonsens feel of it and the fact that it is small and quick.

There is already a search function to aid us in searching for links in "messy" nfo's if needed.

Keep it simple and by any means... Keep up the good work :)

I love NFOPad. I used to use DamnNFO Viewer for the longest time but NFOPad is so much better because it also completely replaces notepad!

The only thing I miss from Damn NFO Viewer is the ability to change the hyperlink color. It makes it a lot easier to see where the links are in the nfo documents.

Please just copy the same functionality of Damn NFO Viewer if possible. Hyperlinks and hovered hyperlinks are user selectable in Damn NFO Viewer. Obviously, the hovered hyperlinks are less important.

Thanks for the great program! The 1.6 changes are great too!
